However, you can only use the job commands from your current secondary job JP invested into a secondary job unlocks things permanently - if you remove a secondary job from a character and later give it back, they'll still have the same set of skills unlocked from it. Even if you don't want to level up a secondary job, there's no benefit to not assigning them. Secondary jobs are pure positive - they give you extra commands in battle, they give you extra weapons in battle, they give a (small) stat bonus, and they take nothing away.
